Who we are
Jessica Maré
Founder and Lead Veterinary Physiotherapist
Jessica is the driving force behind Comprehensive Animal Rehabilitation and Exercise. She holds a four-year degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy and has gained extensive experience working alongside some of South Africa’s leading veterinary rehabilitation and orthopaedic specialists in Cape Town.
Over the past two years, she has specialised in post-operative rehabilitation, injury recovery, neurological rehabilitation, maintenance therapy for geriatric patients, and puppy conditioning. Known for her compassionate, thorough, and gentle approach, she tailors treatment and exercise plans to meet each patient’s unique needs. She is particularly passionate about empowering pet owners through education, helping them recognise signs of pain and discomfort, understand their pet’s condition, and provide the best possible care to enhance their pet’s quality of life.
Jessica has a deep appreciation for working dogs and is eager to expand her work with them. She is also interested in exploring canine nutrition and behaviour to enhance her holistic approach to care further. Through Comprehensive Animal Rehabilitation and Exercise (C.A.R.E.), she aims to provide collaborative, individualised rehabilitation plans that improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote the overall well-being of her patients. Her dedication to teamwork with veterinarians and fellow rehab practitioners and her commitment to compassionate care ensure that every pet she treats receives the highest standard of rehabilitation.
"Dedicated to helping pets heal, stay active, and live their best lives."
